I am a first timer at your forum and have a few questions so here I go. Well here's another Dumb question ?? How do I back-up my pictures ??  I remember hearing Dennis Hills stories at Nicks Rally so I picked up the Cd's and am ready to do the task. Just wondering how to do it ?   Question two I was wondering How to add a Gadget to my Blog ?? Like the USA map as to where we have been and the tracking thingies to see where people that read the blog are from.

Thanks for your help Wayne

Hello Wayne,

Yes, I do remember making quite an example out of poor Dennis who lost all his Alaska pictures!  I'm glad to hear that his misfortune might have sparked your desire to backup your pictures.

The best way to back them up is with Picasa … do you have that?  There is a whole series of Picasa Show-Me-How Videos for members here … /picasa-learning-series/  Pay particular attention to #14 and 15 which are all about backups.  In Picasa, its on the Tools menu – backup pictures.  If this is the first time you've done it, you can just Select All – then click the Burn button to put them on a CD or DVD.  If it fills more than one disk, Picasa will simply prompt you for another disk.

As for Blogger gadgets … check out the Blogger Show-Me-How videos for members at /blogger-learning-series/  There is one toward the bottom on "Map Gadget Sidebar."

For future … there is a Forum area specifically for Picasa, and another specifically for Blogger.  I'm going to copy your questions to those places.  Please respond there if you have any follow up.
