OfflineI purchased the $9.95 Picasa how-to book last night, downloaded it to my PC after saving it to "Downloads", perused it a bit and then quit for the night. Today I'm trying to read the book from my downloaded file and it's simply a bunch of numbers and is totally useless. Do I have to keep downloading it from scratch each time I want to thumb through it? Printing 65 pages is more than I want to put my printer through. Help!
The book is a .pdf file. Did you by any chance change the .pdf extension? There should be no need to re-download it. What you should see in your Downloads folder is picasabook39.pdf – and it is 3.24 MB in size. If you see that, and you have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer, you should be able to open the book and read it.
If you don't have the reader, you can download it here.
