I often need to group a graphic with a textbox but my Word 2007 won't
let me select both in order to do that. If I do a "save as" and save it as a Word 97-2003
version (in other words as a .doc instead of a .docx) I can group and
ungroup just fine. Then I can resave it in Word 2007 and the feature
works for that document at that time.
What setting am I missing? Thanks!

I really don't use Word that much anymore, so I'm not sure ….
but – what I would do is make a text box, then insert the graphic within the text box.
Let us know if that works for you. Or, if anyone else here has some ideas?
