Need to back up my computer.  Want to do it on the internet.  Looked at Google.  Didn't understand how to back up my whole computer.  Which backup source in the cloud do you think is the best?  I use Verizon card, with 5 g per month.  I don't want to back up each night.  Need to leave the computer on and the card in play.  Too costly. The need to back up is urgent, since my fan is making lots of noise and it will probably go pretty soon.

You need to back up your important data.  You do not need to back up everything on your computer.  The online services like Carbonite, which are great if you have unlimited bandwidth and an always-on connection, will quickly put you over a 5G limit.  They can also take days to get everything backed up.

I recommend a ClickFree device.  Here is a link.  It is an external USB hard drive with integrated software which will search your computer for those important files and automatically back them up.  It uses no precious Internet bandwidth.  Later, when you have a good WiFi or other high-bandwidth connection, you can upload those files to an online site.  Microsoft gives you 25G free space with their SkyDrive.  You can pay for more space if needed.  Then your files will be backed up twice.  I also recommend using a DVD drive for archival storage.
