OfflineThis topic is covered in the "Free Videos" section, however, this particular video will not open for me. I've gone through almost all of the other videos in that section and viewed them with no problem.
I have now created "my map" with Google maps thanks to one of Chris's videos so just need to see the video on how to get it into my Blog.
Odie, I wonder if your Mom & Dad realize this link doesn't work – or at least won't work for me ??

OfflineSURE !!! I no sooner post this topic and go back to my Blog & Google Maps to try clicking around some more – and I GOT THE MAP ON MY BLOG !! I still need to 'tweek' it re size etc. but IT'S THERE !!
Still doesn't explain why I can't view the video though ??
HA! That's how it works right? When you go to the doctor, the pain goes away
Anyway … I looked at the free video – and, you're right – it doesn't work. I'm not sure what the problem is.
Meanwhile, since you're a member – you can view the Blogger videos on the learning library: http://geeksontour.tv/blogger-…..ng-series/ and then look for the one on 'Map Gadget Sidebar'
Let us know.

OfflineChris:
I did manage to start our travel map and post it to our Side Bar. My Question should I be able to post it to a Page?
I have made repeated attempts to do so, but it only shows the logic and not the map like on the Side Bar.
My reasoning behind doing this, is that it would be easier to see as I could display a larger sized map.

OfflineIn the page editor you should see two tabs: Compose and HTML – click on the HTML

OfflineAfter reviewing the video I can honestly say I have done everything it says to do, but I am still only able to post the map on the Side Bar. I am trying to post it on a Page, but no matter what I do it won't happen. I figured it would be easier to see, rather than the smaller map on the Side Bar and copying the HTML to a Page is not working. Is this not something that can or cannot be done?
